Gift Aid your furniture donation!
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your donated furniture worth 25% more to our charity at no extra cost to you.
When we sell your donated items, we can claim Gift Aid from HMRC on the sale proceeds. This means that for every £1 your furniture raises, we can claim an extra 25p to support our charitable work.
How it works
- You donate your furniture to us.
- We sell it in our charity shop or through our sales channels.
- If you have signed a Gift Aid declaration, we claim Gift Aid on the money raised.
- Your donation helps us support more people in our community.
Who can Gift Aid?
You can Gift Aid your donation if you are a UK taxpayer and have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations.
Gift Aid does not cost you anything. If your tax circumstances change, please let us know.
