The Community Furniture Stores in Scarborough and York are now selling paint in addition to furniture.  The stores have joined CFS Selby by becoming members of the Community RePaint scheme.   Community RePaint is a national initiative that  makes use of paint that would otherwise go to waste.

Unwanted paint is collected from suppliers and retailers and sold on at £2 per litre, meaning everyone can afford to spruce up their home.  Paint can also be made available to community projects for a small donation.

Our first batches of paint are selling fast. Come down to the Stores to see the range of stock available.  If you’re part of a community group that needs paint for your projects then speak to the Store Manager.
