Hi everyone,

Below will be the first of what should be a weekly look inside CFS and the latest on what the organisation is doing. This is following the creation of a similar newsletter for our IT project IT ReUse. 

The aim will be to bring you closer to our work and to the staff and volunteers who make it happen. As a charity we are always thankful for the vital efforts of our wonderful volunteers, and last week we introduced Christian to the team. Christian has been tirelessly working in the office, taking calls and helping with important paperwork, and has brought a great new energy with his friendly and helpful attitude.

A successful and busy week in terms of outgoings has satisfied us all but left us with plenty of room for new donated items. Feel free to give us a ring on 01904 426444 if you think we could help you out in that regard. We endeavour to make sure any donated items are kept out of landfill and offered at an affordable price to the community.

But more donations of preloved furniture hasn’t been the only new arrival in recent weeks – one of our drivers, Ryan, also welcomed a baby girl, Poppy, into the world. All of us are thrilled for him and his new family, and we wish them all the very best.
